About the Atlanta 2017 InnovateHER Competition

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is currently holding its 3rd annual business challenge — InnovateHER 2017. This competition helps identify innovative products and services with commercial potential that impact the lives of women and/or families. The national InnovateHER Challenge is underwritten by the Atlanta-based Spanx by Sara Blakely Foundation.

The SBA has selected CEO School for Women™ to host for the 2017 InnovateHER Atlanta Competition, in cooperation with the ACE SBA Women’s Business Center.

Our local Atlanta finalist  will receive over $5000 in individual expert coaching to help perfect her pitch for national spotlight as she represents us in the national InnovateHER challenge this Summer 2017.

The deadline for local entries is May 22. The local finalist will be announced May 31, after the May 25 ‘Pitch Night.’

The SBA will name its semifinalists July 31, 2017 with the winners announced and prizes awarded in September.
